Per Andresen

born: 1953
Former graffiti-painter acting in Copenhagen in the early seventies he organized several happenings and street-events as provocation to existing society.
Pepe began to paint on canvas after having too much trouble with police.
According to himself, he will always be a rebel, creating paintings in the moment of spontaneity which explores themes of racism, social inequality and political oppression.
This gives him the energy to his paintings, as you may see they are insisting and you either like them or dislike them.
Mediums used are acrylic, oil markers, paper, collage on canvas.
